100th Day of Kindergarten

Monday was Jack's 100th Day of Kindergarten! The 100th day also happened to coincide with Student Appreciation Day, when the students got to wear pajamas to school! Woo Hoo! Jack was so excited that I didn't even have to wake him up; he came bouncing down the stairs saying, "I'm already dressed for school!"

Jack's teacher is so sweet; she regularly shares pictures from their day with the parents. So here is Mrs. G's recap of the 100th day of school.

Guess which jar has 100 items--smiley face erasers won!

Every 10 minutes a student's number was drawn to get a prize

The class made 100th day headbands

Pretzels and cookies for the "100" snack

Read a book about 100

Played different "100" games--
here they are estimating how many rolls of the dice it takes to get to 100

Putting together 100 piece puzzles

And the best part of the day...

ICE CREAM SUNDAES!!

For student appreciation day, the PTA treated the student body to sundaes. That is the wonderful principal holding the can of whipped cream.

Jack said it was the best day ever...they got to wear their jammies and didn't have to do any work. They just played and had fun all day.

Life doesn't get any better than that!
